Click for a larger photo of Pepper. Pepper
- Male , 5.1 years old
- Medium
- Brown tabby with white
- Can be the only cat, or have a companion
- Needs a predictable, relaxed home (Teens OK)

Can’t see a smile? Pepper is smiling from deep in his heart.

When he came into the MEOW Adoption Center and just like one of Snow White’s dwarfs, Pepper was very bashful.

After a few weeks, Pepper has turned into a big, mushy, cuddly boy. He loves to rub up against your leg and will sometimes just look at you as if he is wondering at his turn of good fortune.

Pepper has Feline Immuno-deficiency Virus this means that he will need to be a single cat or live with a fellow FIV buddy. FIV cats like Pepper can live long, healthy and happy lives. Pepper needs someone just like you to fulfill his dream of going home.

You can make his dream come true.

- OK in noisy home with children, or quiet adults

Little chatterbox!

Orla and her siblings were born in their foster home and had to be bottle fed for the first few days of their life until their mom recovered enough to take over. Consequently they have a very deep bond with humans.

Orla is the baby of the family. Her favorite thing is to sit on your shoulder and tuck her head under your chin. She is a real talker and will answer you almost every time you talk to her.

In her forever home, Orla will need to have a companion to help her feel safe and secure.

- Brown Tabby with White
- Needs another cat, dog, or human to feel happy

Sweet and demure

Evetke is not as outgoing as her siblings but she is relaxed and just as playful. Sometimes when her siblings are all ready to play, little Evetke is still asleep! Maybe she is a night owl?

Evetke feels most safe when she is nearby one of her family members. She is particularly attached to her mother, Cashmere. When she is by herself she will cry until she can find a friend to snuggle with.

In her new home, Evetke will need to have a companion to help her feel safe and not lonely. She would be very happy to be adopted out with Magor.

Come and meet Evetke.

Need a little love?

Cashmere is as sweet on the inside as she is beautiful on the outside. She was rescued from the street when she was about 2 months pregnant. Talk about good luck!

Cashmere has been an excellent mom to her kittens. When the kittens were very small Cashmere was with them all the time. Now she plays with them, talks to them and teaches them how to be good kittens.

She talks to her foster family too, quite often she will start to purr when you look at her! She loves everybody.

In her new forever home, Cashmere would prefer to be the only cat.

Please come and meet Cashmere.

Bling is brave and adventurous

She loves anything shiny, jingly, noisy, chewy ..or just anything that moves. She loves Temptations, and will eat them quickly so she can try to steal them from slower siblings and even her mum.

Bling likes to bat at your fingers, and chew on toes, and loves to attack the 2 big resident cats’ tails. She would blend in with the night if it weren't for a tiny white spot at her throat.

Feel like a little fun? Bling Clawsby is waiting!!

- Dilute Tortie
- Can be the only cat, or have a companion
- OK in noisy home with children, or quiet adults

Victoria Secret has no secrets

This absolutely gorgeous young momma was abandoned soon before she had her kittens. She is a friendly kitty so she must have had a loving home at some time. Why she was treated so badly is anyone's guess.

At her foster home, Victoria Secret is as thankful as a mommy kitty can be. She knows her kittens are safe and that she does not have to worry about them anymore.

Now, this charming wee kitty would like to have some more good luck come her way. Somewhere 'out there' is a family that is perfect for her.

Victoria Secret is waiting for love.

Enese is a wee carbon copy of her mother. Her name means 'female deer' which fits her like a glove as she loves to jump like a deer. Enese is quite the little acrobat.

Usually Enese is the first to play and explore and she is the last one who gets tired. Even though she is an adorable little girl, Enese can rough house and wrestle with the best of them.

In her new home, Enese will need to have a full time companion to help her feel safe and happy.

Enese is sure to keep you hopping!

Click for a larger photo of Tivoli. Tivoli
- Female , 1.4 years old
- Short
- Torbi with white
- Can be the only cat, or have a companion
- OK in noisy home with children, or quiet adults

Is that my new forever family I see?

Tivoli came to her foster home when she was only 11 months old herself, with her 3 day old babies. She has been an absolutely wonderful, devoted mom.

Tivoli is extremely friendly and is not shy about jumping right into your lap when she wants attention and she frequently purrs when she is happy. While she has never met a person she didn’t want to snuggle up to, she isn’t crazy about either of her foster home’s existing cats – perhaps she prefers a home where she can be the centre of attention.

This is one kitty who is a truly sweet girl!!!

Coombes is a laid back cool sort of cat. He doesn't get bothered by the antics of the youngsters he rooms with at the shelter this cool fellow is just too happy to be safe to worry about what the other kitties are up to.

When you meet Coombes it is obvious that he used to have a family. How he became homeless is a story only he can tell. For now, Coombes is looking to the future - a future with a loving family that will cherish him and never abandon him.

Please give Coombes the new start he is hoping for!

Click for a larger photo of Hunor. Hunor
- Male , 0.2 years old
- Long
- Black with white
- Needs another cat, dog, or human to feel happy
- OK in noisy home with children, or quiet adults

Shakey start for Hunor

When Hunor was born he was the smallest (extremly small) and very weak. He didn't move or cry. His foster family had to bottle feed him because his siblings pushed him away.

Now he is stong and playful. He is independent and wants to know everyting. Humor always supervises his foster mom when she cleans up his cat room. Maybe he is making sure she doesn't miss a spot!

Humor is well on his way to becoming a lapcat - when his foster mom or dad sit down he curls up one of the laps. Of course all this lovey dovey stuff has to wait until playtime is over!

In his forever home, Hunor will need to have a companion to keep him company and not feel lonely.

Hunor wants to warm your lap!

In his new forever home, Donahue will need to have a full time buddy around to help him feel safe and secure.

She is a very sweet, affectionate cat, who loves to head butt you. She likes to greet you at the door and doesn't mind hearing about your day as long as she gets a comfy lap to sit on.

One of Amandine's favourite past times is looking out the window and watching the world go by. She loves to be petted, to be brushed, and to play with her fur mice and little foam balls.

Amandine is an all round wonderful cat with one request, to be the only feline in the house.

While Toulouse isn't a kitten, he is still playful and always on the lookout for fun (or trouble?). He would dearly love to go to a home that will love him and let him become one of the family.

Ducat loves pets and snuggles and finds people very interesting. Whatever you are doing, Ducat wants to lend a paw.

What a pretty girl!

Lotessa came to be a MEOW cat when she was 6 weeks pregnant. When she got to her Foster Home, Lotessa didn't take long to fit right in. She was obviously a house cat before as living indoors was just fine with her!

She was a wonderful mother to her kittens but now that they have all found homes, it is time for Lotessa to find forever love of her own.

While she is a little shy, Lotessa likes to rub against your legs when she's comfortable around you. She's not a lap cat but does appreciate a nice chin scratch and a pet. She is quiet, but always purrs when it's dinner time.

A little love is all this angel needs to be happy.

With all this cute orange lady has to offer, she really needs her own family to be truly happy. Having her own family to love and cherish would be a happy ending to her story.

He does love his snuggles, and will purr with loud approval if you can find his ideal scratching spot which just happens to be his tummy.

Plato does need a companion to be happy, and will cry to find his cuddle buddies gone.

Squeaker was the first to figure out how to eat solid food, the first to figure out the litter box and the first to make squeaks when they were all born!

She is a striking mixture of light brown, dark brown and white calico and has the sweetest face. She is a quiet stalker and the softest of all the kittens in this family.

This adorable, playful kitten will need to have a companion in her new forever home so she won't get lonely.

Kenji has paid his dues.

Kenji did not have it easy when he was on the street. His rescuer first saw him dodging cars on his way to and from garbage bags. Imagine, this poor boy had to rummage though trash to find food. That just isn't right.

At the MEOW Adoption Center, Kenji is finally safe and has food available to him whenever he needs it. He is one happy cat.

Kenji is now looking for a forever home, one that he can settle into and finally be part of a family. He is looking forward to telling his new family all about his life on the street.

Let Kenji be your best buddy.

The perfect Storm!

Storm is an affectionate boy who doesn't use his claws to play with his foster home and has become more gentle with the other kittens as he has gotten a bit older.

He is a strong, large kitten with splashes of grey and dark grey and a distinct white stripe down his nose. His name implies a whirlwind, but he also has the calm and refreshment that come with storms!

At his new home, Storm will need to have a companion to help him feel safe and secure.

Midnight Star is always the first to say hello and come to snuggle and her spunk is quite fun! This kitten is sure to keep her new family on their toes.

Because she is so young, Midnight Star will need to have a full time companion in her new home to help her feel safe and secure.

The perfect cat!

Heidi is a sweet, friendly girl who purrs and chirps but rarely meows. She has never shown any aggression in her foster home, even when she first arrived and was very frightened.

Her favorite thing is to be brushed and she will purr the whole time. She doesn't mind being picked up and often purrs when her foster mom picks her up for a few minutes. Heidi also doesn't mind being hugged and cuddled by the three small cat lovers in her foster home.

Heidi is playful, especially now that the kittens are getting older. It is funny watching her chase and be chased by her kittens. She also loves cat treats!

Her fur is super soft and she likes to be petted and brushed. Of course the minute she trots off her fur is all standing up again like it wasn’t brushed.

At his foster home, Teal’C loves to play with his kitten toys. When he gets tired of that he wrestles and romps about with his siblings or his mom. He hasn’t a care in the world.

Teal’C also enjoys playing with his foster family. He really finds the tiny people to be fun. They have almost as much energy as he does.

When she isn’t exercising, Holly Bolly likes to sleep. In fact, she has fallen asleep in her foster mom’s lap after a particularly taxing play session. What a relaxed and contented kitten she is.

Holly Bolly also loves the tiny people in her foster home. In her new home, Holly Bolly will need to have a companion to keep her company and it would be wonderful if it could be her brother Teal'C whom she loves dearly.

Might as well be calling this dainty darling “Mellow Yellow”!

Paige was rescued from the streets with her 2 surviving four weeks old kittens. But meeting her you’d never know she’d seen the mean streets!

From the very first day, this lady’s calm & easy going personality was apparent. She’ll have her curious moments of course, having to quickly assess any new environment…where, should she find the room occupied by a disgruntled dog or cat, she’ll respectfully leave them their space. She is a courteous girl who doesn’t want to disturb anyone, but does enjoy being with her human household.

She loves attention and will quietly come by looking for it (and reward you with some loud purring for it too!). If no one happens to be available she’ll move on to her second favorite activity – street watching out the window from the height of her cat tree.

This well-mannered sweetheart will definitely make someone a purrfect companion!

Little, but tough!

Torin is the smallest of his family, but is surprisingly tough. He doesn’t back down when the bigger ones stalk and pounce. He has funny little whiskers that make him look old and looks like he is wearing white mittens. What a cutie!

He’s a little more independent than his siblings but still loves to play and wrestle with his brothers and sisters.

Torin will need to go to a home where he will have a companion to make him feel safe and secure.

Adopt this tough little guy today!

* Torin has been adopted as a companion to his brother Aiden.

The sweetest girl of the bunch!

When you look at little miss Sprout, often all you can see are bright green round eyes in a black ball of fluff! While this little darling loves playing, especially with her brothers and sisters, she absolutely adores loving attention from people. Sprout is very affectionalte and loves giving kitty kisses.

Come and meet this little lovebug today!

Tiny but still important!

Shere Khan has a really big name to live up to. While he may be a little fellow now, one day he hopes to be a great big cat!

When he was rescued, Shere Khan and his family had been moving around quite a bit. His mom was doing her best to keep her kittens fed and safe.

At his MEOW Foster Home Shere Khan has been working really, really hard on being brave. So far he has made little strides in the right direction but he will need a patient forever home to allow him to progress at his speed. He will also need a companion in his forever home to keep his feeling safe.

Give this tiny fellow a chance to love you!

Shere Khan was adopted as a companion for Rikki.

Is it treat time yet?

Rikki was rescued from the street when he was already a few weeks old. He hasn't let his street beginnings affect how he sees people however. At first he was a little confused when he found himself in his foster home but it didn't take him long to realize he was safe. He loves to roll over and get his tummy rubbed by his foster family. Of course, toy and sibling playtime take up most of his day!

When the treats came out Rikki was absolutely certain he was in a good place! He loves his treats so much he will come running when it is treat time.

Rikki will need to have a companion in his new forever home so he won't get lonely and will have a buddy.

Rikki is ready to love you.

Rikki was adopted as a companion for Shere Khan.

Toes sit still!

Toes is always on the go. It was impossible to get a photograph of him sitting still and not dashing about or wrestling with a sibling.

Toes is a happy youngster who spends his days playing, sleeping and then playing again. LIfe is good when you are safe and have all the food, toys and love you need.

Toes will need to have a buddy at his new foster home - not only for playing with but also for companionship.

Toes wants to play with you!

Who me?

Lazzy is every bit as sweet as his picture makes him look. He has a loving, kind personality, although he is a wee bit shy.

Lazzy loves to chase his kitten toys and wrestle with his siblings. Toy mice are one of his favorite toys! Nap time is best spent cuddled up with a warm kitten buddy.

Because Lazzy is a youngster, he will need to have a companion in his new forever home so he won't get lonely.

Kennis the go-getter!

Kennis is easily the bravest of her family. She is such a curious kitten you just never know what mischief she will get into next!

One of her favorite pastimes is to watch everything her foster family does, always looking for an avenue for her impish personality.

She has a ton of energy which she usually spends wrestling with her siblings or pounding kitten toys into submission!

Kennis will need to go to a home with a companion so she won't fee lonely or get into too much trouble all on her own!

Kennis will add spark to your life, guaranteed!

Beautiful and charming!

Kodak is a carbon copy of her mom with her beautiful coloring. She is a little bit shy, especially with new people but she quickly comes out to check out newcomers, what a curious little girl!

She isn’t crazy about being picked up but she loves to crawl all over people and loves to have someone there to shake toys for her. She can often be found playing with her siblings and when she has had enough she climbs up somewhere high where she can keep an eye on them.

Kodak would do well in a quieter home where she can relax and let her personality shine or in a lively one where she can make lots of new friends!

Baloo the recycled cat.

In his picture, Baloo is next to the rescue hero toy which is fitting because he was rescued from a blue bin. He loves playing in that rescue hero tower!

Baloo was rescued as an orphan. He loves everyone and will knead whatever part of your body he is sitting on He enjoys having the foster family’s kids pack him around and he will cuddle for hours which is amazing for a kitten.

Three cheers for Baloo!
