Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Don’t miss out on our feline Chaucer. Yes, Chaucer has had some steep hurdles in his life, namely severe dental disease. As a result and to keep Chaucer happy and healthy, he must be on two daily inexpensive medications called gabapentin and dexamethasone. The dexamehtasone helps the inflammation in his gums and the gabapentin helps with any pain or anxiety which will result in Chaucer over grooming.
Then, this poor guy developed glaucoma and complications with his right eye and it had to be removed. He has fully recovered and is very happy and comfortable again.
So now let us tell you about Chaucer's personality. Chaucer likes to enjoy the world at a distance, but he keeps his eye on things just to make sure his world is running as smooth as it should. He is the king of popping in every now and then for a quick little purr and head butt/press. He will let you know exactly when it is meal time....but enjoys having a little cuddle before tucking in for the meal. He has a zoom around the house once a day before finding the most uncomfortable place in the house to sleep.....for hours. With this type A personality, dad bod, low-key mister you can't really go wrong.
