And at long last, MEOW is pleased to introduce Maradona! Maradona was a stray for at least a year and had what seemed to be a severe eye infection when he arrived. It was discovered he needed not one, but two entropian eye repairs. His lower eyelids were turning in and were irritating his eyes. After two surgeries to correct his eyes, followed by dental surgery and two more weeks of recovery, Maradona is looking for all the attention and any warm lap he can find,
Due to Maradona's long time on the streets and probably from a past territorial skirmish, he has contracted FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Please do not be afraid of adopting this wonderful boy. Cats with FIV usually live long uneventful lives wtih normal attentive care, and they can also live with other cat friends in the same family without risk, as long as everyone follows the 'no fighting, no biting' rule.
Maradona can't wait to meet you and settle into his first home in a very long time.
