Meet Saya! Saya is definitely a “fast arrow” especially when there’s a feather toy or laser pointer involved. She zips around the room, focused on whatever might be there to play with. She’s the first to explore and adventure and lead the way, including meeting other cats and dog in her previous foster home. Saya is also a snuggler who takes advantage of lap time when her foster mom works at home. If you get too far away, Saya comes to see where you went and what you’re up to, squeaking while she looks. If you’re sitting, she’s right up on your lap to squeak “hello”!
As a wee kitten, Saya contracted an upper respiratory virus called Herpes. As a result she has some corneal scarring in both eyes, but she is comfortable and it does not cause any issues in her day to day life. Saya has seen the specialist and has been declared 100% ready for her new home.
Herpes is a very common virus in cats and it is estimated that 80-90% of cats have it. She is living a completely normal life and her quality of life will not be impacted.
Saya is still very young and acts like an energizer kitty as she races around her adoption room. If you are looking to adopt an active feline that will put a smile on your face, you have to meet Saya.
